Weber Psychological Services employs qualified individuals who are passionate and enthusiastic about providing thorough, high-quality patient care. Our office is happy to accommodate the needs of our patients at any time throughout their treatment process.

​Christine Weber, Ph.D.

NY/NJ Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Weber is a psychologist licensed in New York and New Jersey. She practices clinical neuropsychology,  specializing in neuropsychological evaluations for adults related to difficulties with memory, cognition, autism, and attention. She also performs psychological evaluations for individuals seeking bariatric surgery.

Dr. Weber received both her B.A. and M.A. degrees in psychology from CUNY Hunter College. She earned her M.Phil. and Ph.D. in psychology from the City University of New York Graduate Center. Dr. Weber has previously worked alongside medical and psychological staff at
 Columbia University's Gertrude H. Sergievsky Center and Taub Institute for Research on Alzheimer's Disease and the Aging Brain. She was Assistant Clinical Professor at New York University's Pearl I. Barlow Center for Memory Evaluation & Treatment. She has worked at multiple nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities, providing psychological evaluations and psychotherapy to short-term and long-term residents. 
​She is an Adjunct Professor in the psychology department at SUNY Old Westbury and SUNY Farmingdale.

​Outside of the office, Dr. Weber enjoys running, biking, singing in her local community choir, and spending time with her spouse and rescue dogs. She has a passion for working with students and new healthcare professionals, providing support as they begin their career journeys.

    Office Manager

Mary began working at Weber Psychological Services as an undergraduate psychology intern. She is now a NYS registered testing technician at this office. Additionally, she assists patients with all aspects of their office visit and needs - from scheduling appointments, communicating with health insurance companies, and communicating with referring medical facilities. She assists with patient assessments during psychological and neuropsychological evaluation appointments.

Mary graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Old Westbury with a BA degree in Psychology and is planning to pursue a master’s degree in mental health counseling in the near future.

Mary previously worked in retail management for multiple luxury brand flagship stores and excels at customer service. 

In her spare time, Mary enjoys art, music, and exercise, and spending time with her family.

Denae Wheeler, MHC - LP

Denae started at Weber Psychological Services as an undergraduate psychology intern. She is now working as a NYS registered testing technician, and she assists with patient assessments during psychological evaluations for neuropsychological testing appointments. 

Denae graduated from SUNY Old Westbury with a BA degree in psychology, and has completed her M.S degree in mental health counseling  from Molloy University.  She is currently completing her mental health counseling postgraduate therapy requirements at New York Cognitive Therapy & Wellness Center.

​Denae has previously worked with autistic children as a behavior technician and as a research assistant at SUNY Old Westbury's Department of Psychology. Denae is also a professional mentor with Braven, supporting college students to work towards their academic and career goals.

Colette began working at Weber Psychological Services as an undergraduate psychology intern. She is now a New York State registered testing technician at this office. She assists with scheduling appointments, communicating with health insurance companies, and communicating with referring medical facilities. She assists with patient assessments during psychological and neuropsychological evaluation appointments.

Colette graduated from SUNY Old Westbury with a BA degree in Psychology, and is pursing a PhD degree in clinical psychology at Long Island University, Brooklyn campus. At SUNY Old Westbury, Colette was a teaching assistant for the psychology department. Colette is additionally assisting psychology faculty members of SUNY Old Westbury with research studies currently being conducted. 

Colette has previously been an office manager at a large law firm. Her administrative and customer service skills are unparalleled, and she is happy to provide assistance and support to patients for any of their needs throughout their appointments at this office.

   Arda Guven, MHC-LP

Arda is a limited permit holder in mental health counseling, providing psychotherapy and counseling services over telehealth under the supervision of Dr. Weber. At this time, Arda is only providing psychotherapy and counseling services via telehealth. She is fluent in Turkish as a native speaker. 

Arda graduated from NYU with a BS degree in applied psychology and earned her MA degree in counseling for mental health and wellness from NYU Steinhardt. She has over a decade's worth of experience in supporting members of her community in managing their acute stressors. Arda is experienced in data collection and interpretation within psychology research. She has presented longitudinal research on immigrant populations for the American Psychological Association. She previously worked for FEGS as an intern, providing both group and individual psychotherapy to individuals with chronic mental illness. Arda is a member of the New York Mental Health Counselor’s Association. 

Outside of the office, Arda enjoys crafting, baking, hiking, and spending time with her partner and rescue cat. 
Arda’s passion lies in aiding youth in immigrant communities as they work through the stressors of adulthood while discovering their passion and potential. She has a passion for providing the professional support individuals need to become a better version of themselves.

Daniella Derby, LMSW

Daniella is a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York State who is passionate about providing compassionate, client-centered care. She has worked in hospitals, community programs, and crisis intervention settings, as well as with incarcerated individuals and young people on probation. These experiences allow her to bring empathy, understanding, and a collaborative approach to her work.
She earned her Master of Social Work with an Advanced Certificate in Forensics from LIU Post and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in clinical psychology at LIU Brooklyn. Daniella specializes in supporting adults who are navigating various life changes, depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, and forensic concerns. Her goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered to build resilience, strengthen relationships, and achieve meaningful growth.

Outside of her work, Daniella enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and reading.
